Once upon a time I bought a lot of hard drive magnets and used them to stick knives to my kitchen wall. It looked awful, but it worked great. This walnut and maple knife block is that same concept but with a bit more polish. It uses powerful rare earth magnets to safely hold about four kitchen knives. It mounts to your wall (installation instructions included) using drywall screws, and has been finished with boiled linseed oil.
